We found each other on Instagram and I have to tell you that these beautiful blondes are truly inspiring. With unique sense of Fashion and cool catching the eye pics and outfits, their nickname is just on point. So let’s our  fashion talk begin… 

Let’s introduce you. What is the bond between you two and how did you started your Instagram account? 

We are both studying fashion management and met at university. One
year ago we were studying six months in Milan and lived together. This
time strengthened our bond and now we can´t imagine being without
each other. We started our account more or less one year ago. We sat in our
favourite café in Milan and booked a very spontaneous trip to Venice one
hour later. While sitting on the train we created deuxblondebellas. That is
where it all started.

Where are you located at the moment? I’ll be studying fashion in Milan, saw you have some pics from there. What can you  tell me about the Italian fashion? 

At the moment we are not in Milan, we are located in Düsseldorf and
Cologne (Germany). We are ready to move on once the coronavirus is
over. The Italian fashion inspired us extremely. It just feels
much better to walk around the Italian streets seeing all those beautiful
people. We felt more free and more confident to dress extraordinary. The
Italian people are dressed more colourful and they are definitely more
fashionable than german people are.

What’s your opinion on trends? Do you prefer following them or trusting your own personal style?

For us personally trends are a very good source of inspiration and
can function as a guideline but in total we have our own style and
trust each other and her opinion.

Who inspires you the most for you fashion decisions and style?

We think the inspiration for our style
comes from more than just other influencers or other person in
general. We find the source of inspiration lays in many things, like
art, images and also on the streets. Best trends are made on the
streets!

Are you an online shopper? And please reveal me your favorite shops and brands ( so I can steal some inspiration later hahahah).

We do not shop online very much. For
us shopping is a whole experience and we want to see and feel the
different patterns and materials. Of course we visit some fast
fashion stores in our cities like Zara and so on. But what stands for
us and our style is a combination with unique and outstanding
pieces that we find in small boutiques all over the world. Our go-to
places to find unique designer pieces are Florence, New York and
of course Milan. A very good example is a handmade bowtie made
from green silk with a pink feather (manidelsud) which we found during our city stroll in Florence. It is such a beautiful piece which
can be combined in several ways and always looks stunning.

If you could have a fashion talk like this one with someone, who would it be?

During our time in Milan we had the chance to join a
fashion talk with Anna Dello Russo and Tamu McPherson. They
are both very strong and independent fashion icons for us. If we
could choose someone for a fashion talk in the future, it would be
Alessandro Michele (Gucci) and Vivienne Westwood. They are
both extremely talented Designers with a unique touch and an
outstanding creativity.

I have an article called “Scent  of Fashion”. How does fashion smells like for you? 

This question is not so easy for
us because fashion is an ongoing change. Our first impression is a
mixture of high-quality individual substances with a floral smell
(Jasmine blossom and roses). Fashion is very sensual because of
that a combination with Bourbon-Vanilla would be matching for us.

I love this question, even though I cannot answer it hahahah, tell me which item from your wardrobe will you pick, if your wardrobe is on fire?

The first item would be a vintage blazer for men from Dior which we
also found in Florence in a very tiny second-hand shop. The item
has big shoulder pads and a checked pattern in subtle colours. The
second item are overknee-cowboy boots with a crocodile
embossing. They are from Ganni and are an absolute eye-catcher.

Fashion quotes are my weakness. And I think a proper way to finish our interview. Do you have some favorite ones?

Our first impression is a
very famous fashion quote from the iconic Coco Chanel. She was a
very powerful woman and revolutionized the whole industry.
“Fashion fades only style remains – Coco Chanel”. This quote
illustrates our attitude towards fashion. Everyone can buy clothing
but you have to see and feel how to wear and combine it in the way
that you create a total fashionable look.
